the funny thing about Casey is i sort of see him similar to Ace Young, but i liked Ace Young a WHOLE lot more...and i can't really stand Casey *ducks* lol

Ace was leaps and bounds hotter then Casey. I'm usually not a fan of pretty boys but I loved me some Ace! (ok and New Kids On The Block but that stems from my youth! Blame it on age!)

I think some of the guys were better today and some were worse. I none of them changed my opinion my faves are still Andrew, Lee, and Casey. I don't know that it will happen but I think Toddrick and Jermaine should go home. I think they were both terrible. I really hope the girls are better tomorrow since it is supposed to be the girls year after all.

Mike Lynch: "This is A Man's World". Phenomenal vocals. i could see him having an R&B career, but I felt he had no "swagger" on stage. Still love him though.

Jon Park: "Gravity". Good song choice for him. Just nothing special.

Casey James: "I don't Want To Be".

Alex Lambert: "nobody Knows". I dug this alot. he has such a cool "Mraz" sound. Still looked terrified.

Todrick Hall: "What's Love". Ugh...another smarmy dude who smacks of effort. Trying so hard to be cool and unique with his arrangements. He's just not all that.

Jermain Sellers: "What's Goin' On". Indeed. I don't even know who this guys IS.

Andrew Garcia: Terrible.

Aaron Kelly: "My Girl"...another boring choice of song. WHY do these young guys insist on choosing these old school hokey songs?? With all of Billboards possibilities, THIS is his choice? He smacks of effort. KWIM? Like he's trying super hard to be great. It isn't working.

Tim Urban: Once again. Poor Chris Golightly.

Tonight was a lot better than last week. Alex stood out to me, and made me proud. I want him to keep shining like he did tonight.

I just don't get what the big deal is about Lee Dewyze. He just does nothing for me...

Ok, woke up this morning, woke up my DD and she flipped on the DVRed show of last night's Idol.

Got about 6 singers through before she had to head off to school and I wish I'd stayed in bed or watched an infomercial on the AbMaster Extreme 5000 or something.

O.M.G. could these guys have been any more boring, bland, blah, blech?

I think that they should scrap the whole lot of guys AND girls and start over--they all do nothing for me-none stand out. Casey stands out as cute but its not a cute contest!
Some of them are actually painful to listen to!

It took all I had to watch the show last night. What were these judges thinking? I blame this on them. They put these people through. The girls are not any better. When one singer can sing a song somewhat decent and he becomes the one to beat? That is what the show this year has. I think the band is also horrible! Idol is starting to scare me. I don't think any big name talent is going to want to touch this group? One last thought. I love Ellen but not on Idol. She is like a fish out of water on that show. Maybe a couple seasons down the road she could be good but I don't think Idol can survive that long.
