NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
ps: I do like Rick Astley.
Lee's looks more constipated than blank.(Lee's one of my favorites, but I'm just keeping it real, Dawg.
)

...his new name is.....
"...Do-wah Ditty, ditty, DUM, ditty, doo...."
very good, I actually did laugh out loudNeither of these were written by Lennon and McCartney so I don't think you will hear Tim sing them next week. The Beatles did perform a cover of Twist and Shout but it is more associated with the Isley Brothers. As far as Roll Over Beethoven, that was written by Chuck Berry. This was his hit and I don't even think of the Beatles singing it even though they may have covered it.
This is absolutely the WORST season of American Idol of all time! 4 judges is too many! The contestants are average. I'm amazed that Teflon Tim is still there! I think I'm going to be voting hard for him...he seems humble and grateful.
I just put it on mute and watch him move
I can't believe Tim is still there, I know he's cute but he is one big snoozefest and I swear when he's looking into the camera he has this blank almost like he's hypnotized, stare. It drives me crazy, I can't even watch him and now he'll be around next week. Come on cougars, stop voting for him, send him to the Disney channel where he belongs.
I think it's hilarious that Tim is still around. Another victory for us cougars!! Seriously, I think it'd be awesome if he stuck around through the whole season just so we can stare at him.![]()

I think the other contestants are realizing Tim is the Grimm Reaper of the bottom 3...he ends up in the bottom 3, but someone else is outta there, not him. Did you guys see the looks on the faces of the Idols when Tim came walking back after DiDi was told to sing for her life? It was disbelief for sure, they figured it was Tim, not DiDi..which makes him more bullet proof than believed. They got for the 3rd week in a row, in the face proof that it is not singing that is getting voted on..and they cannot compete with his smiling happy face/outlook....stinks for sure, but interesting all the same!
I'm gonna call him *Tim Reaper*....![]()
DH was saying how all of the other contestants probably hate Tim for sticking around, too. but i told him "well they're all pretty bad, they shouldn't hate him for being just as bad as them" lol

good point, maybe they better take the if you can't beat 'em, join 'em route...I would crack up if they all came out wearing Tim wigs and masks with GIANT smiles plastered on the front and slid across the stage,lol....that should be the group number next week!

let me just say that lilirishchick,i love your sig...now about AI - i think tim is a cutey and his explanation for his smiling was probably very sincere, hes happy to be there.. i hate ryan seacrest this season, his stupid questions every week to the contestants is irritating. and the bickering with simon is getting old. what is up with randy this year too? his booing simon and what is with those beads he wears and those dorky sweaters? just my opinion its just my own personal rant.im frus-tra-ted with this season.

This week, Tim Urban made history by becoming Vote for the Worst's longest-running pick ever, with an impressive (?) seven-week run. (Yes, he's even outlasted the site's previous record holder, Sanjaya Malakar.)
The site, which launched in 2004, quite simply chooses a contestant whom it think is the "worst" and then votes for them with the hope that they'll make it to the next round. Past VFTW favorites include Megan Joy (season 9), Kristy Lee Cook (season 7) and, yes, even Jennifer Hudson, who was the site's inaugural pick back in season 3.
Since we're teaming with VFTW for our Worst 'American Idol' Finalists Ever feature, we went straight to the site's creator, Dave Della Terza, to get his thoughts on Tim's staying power, what he should sing for next week's Lennon-McCarthy theme and whether this is actually the worst 'Idol' season ever.
Read our full interview below.
Tell us, in your own Vote for the Worst words, what makes Tim Urban so special.
He just doesn't seem to care. I mean, he cares, but he doesn't take it seriously, which is something that we always love in the Vote For the Worst contestants. I mean, when we had Sanjaya coming out with a ponyhawk or singing to the crying girl -- we love that stuff. People seem to take 'American Idol' so seriously, so when one of the contestants like Norman Gentle isn't taking it seriously, we love that. The fact that Tim Urban just isn't taking himself seriously and all the other contestants are getting so upset if they're on the bottom and he's just laughing it off -- that's awesome. He clearly is making everyone angry, because he knows he's on borrowed time. He knows he isn't supposed to be there, but he's just having fun with it.
Do you think he's on the verge of becoming Sanjaya? Is he already the Sanjaya of season 9?
I think he is the Sanjaya of this season. The funny thing is, this past week Tim Urban [became] our longest-running pick ever. He passed Sanjaya, which is hysterical. I think he hasn't gotten quite as far as Sanjaya did, but I don't think people were as mad [at Sanjaya]. People got mad at Tim really early on, where I think for Sanjaya, it built over the season. [With] Tim, it was right off the bat. People said, "We don't like you." I think lasting this long makes him pretty comparable.
Did you think he would last this long?
No! You can ask anyone. I've been saying he's going to go home every single week ... because it's been so ridiculous that he stuck around this long. And it's hilarious, because we've never had a pick that's been in the bottom two every single week, and the fact that he is, that just goes to show that if Vote for the Worst wasn't voting for him, clearly he could have gone home some of these weeks. We're not like this all-powerful force that can completely change the entire show, but we could get enough votes to possibly push someone from last into second-to-last. And if he's been in that position this many times, that obviously says something.
How long do you think he's going to last?
I think he's going home every week, so I would tell you he's gonna get 9th place now. But you know, at this point, the way it's going you never know. I mean, Andrew Garcia clearly isn't all that great but he's escaped the bottom three so far. Katie Stevens isn't that good. Aaron Kelly, despite the judges saying that they think he's great, is really terrible. There's quite a few contestants who could go home next week if Tim were to just keep getting those few more votes than them. Tim could possibly go four or five more weeks if we really put our minds to it.
Do you think there's any chance he could win?
No. You see, even with the contestants that people like, like Adam Lambert or David Archuleta, they get to the end and there's such a backlash against them, because there's so many people that were annoyed by them all season. If Tim Urban were to get into the final two, like, 95 percent of America would vote for the other person. It would be the biggest blowout ever. It'd be fun but there's no way he'll win.
I think the other contestants are realizing Tim is the Grimm Reaper of the bottom 3...he ends up in the bottom 3, but someone else is outta there, not him. Did you guys see the looks on the faces of the Idols when Tim came walking back after DiDi was told to sing for her life? Rihanna will be on the show Wednesday night singing Te Amo, rumor is maybe Clay Aiken too.

Stopped watching it when he was kicked off. On Dial Idol he was in 2nd place that night, and nowhere near last.
It made me mad, and he was the best on there IMHO. I also liked Lee, but he wasn't as good as Alex. I think Lee's trouble was he just gets nervous. (Saw a YouTube vid of him playing at some bar, and he was fantastic and didn't seem nervous at all).

Sigh...
