that was my issue with the whole Haiti thing. all these celebs came out and were gung-ho about "raising money for Haiti" but what about their own country?? i don't understand....and you're exactly right, no one is going to help us. we need to start helping ourselves first, before we help everyone else.

Without getting too far into it, this country has programs for people to help themselves. It needs major reforms because of the abuse that happens before we help people who rely on it for a lifetime.

$100 million comes out to like .33 cents a person in this country. So I donated my very small amount through taxes.

We need to be helping the MIDDLE class in this country who need temporary help. You have to be flat broke to get any kind of assistance. It's ridiculous.
