I liked Janell Wheeler, Katelyn Epperly, Lacey Brown, Didi Benami, Siobahn Magnus, Crystal Bowersox, and Katie Stevens.

Didn't care much at all for Paige Miles, Ashley Rodriguez, Lilly Scott and especially Hayley Vaughn. They can all go home. Especially Hayley. Please.

This season, they keep saying that the group of girls has unbelievable talent. Based on last night, I just didn't see it. Maybe it was nerves but no one really stood out. A few (Haeley, Didi,Lilly, Paige...) made me wonder how they even got this far. I just didn't get them.

as a pp said, I too was very underwhelmed with the girls last night. Maybe it was opening night jitters, IDK - but the way they were hyped up, well, they didn't live up to it. I wonder how much advice they were given on song choice? Some of them we haven't really seen or know about. You would think they want a upbeat song to come grab us in. I really don't know who'd be going home.

I have to agree.. nobody stood out to me.. I mean, a lot of them look like they were having a blast up there, but nobody wowed me..

See, I was a big Adam fan...and I dont think anybody will compare(boys or girls)

I too, was not wowed last night.

Clearly I am incapable of being a music critic b/c on one song, I didn't hear the pitch problems they were noticing. Perahps b/c I didn't know how the song was supposed to be.

Probably my most favorite for being unique was Lilly. Everyone else? Meh...

Okay--I did enjoy Siobahn as well...was that the one they said was pitchy and I didn't notice?

I noticed that the new father was sitting in the top 10 guys last night? I guess he wasn't cut after all?

I am def. with the majority on here in saying I was not all that impressed...I am really hoping the guys do a better job tonight. I did like Mamasox and because i do like that song that didi sang, i enjoyed that as well..otherwise..pretty much "meh".

And I didn't bother to vote for anyone, because in my opinion? None of them were worth my time.

Me too. I"m looking for the new Adam Lambert and I know I will be disappointed with this season. I think the Adam Lambert season was the peak of AI, it will all go downhill from here, esp. with Simon leaving.

I agree with you that most movies aren't worth the ticket price. I'm not going to continue to waste $10 (evening) to see a low quality movie.

I want to see Shrek Forever After and Toy Story 3.

Inception might be interesting but I'll have to see more trailers before deciding.

I don't even know what else is coming out this summer though.

I have no clue either. I'd like to see both of those too. And some of my friends may do group trips to the movies when there's something sci-fi coming out. I was broke when they did Avatar and Sherlock Holmes.

At this point I think we should throw out 4 of the girls and keep ALL the guys. I don't care how bad the guys might be, they CANNOT be worse than those pitchy/breathy/bad hair/bad outfits/bad songs/awkward-looking/pageanty 'twits' last night (with possibly the only exception being Crystal Bowersox, but I didn't even really like her either, it's just that she didn't stink up the joint as badly as everybody else).

And you-all just know, that as soon as everyone does something 'different' the judges will then say that the contestants screwed it up by not staying with their strengths.
