My area is really pushing him too, more than when Syesha was on. Maybe because she had actual competition and Big Mike doesn't. Plus, I read an article where his area of New Yawk is voting for him too. The others are probably from such small areas they aren't getting blocks of voters.

I like Mike's voice..I'm just not liking the attitude I sense from him now. He looks like he is starting to really believe all the praise they are heaping on him.

I think that would be a tough thing - you are feeling great to be safe, how could you not smile?

I mean, get it that he's happy, and I don't blame him for that....it's just that I've never seen someone show it that clearly...

I think with the fact that he grinds my gears, seeing him smiling got me fired up. I DO tend to overreact and get emotional on things....even Idol.

He has to make it through next week too. The big homecoming is set for May 14th - the day I leave for my kid-free Disney weekend. Otherwise, I'd work the homecoming and get in all the shots so you all could see me.
