American Idol Season 13 Official Thread

OMG who can be voting for Jessica? Did you see her face when she was (finally) in the bottom 2? Wow what a biotch. Her attitude is terrible and she thinks she is so much better than she is. People please......don't vote for her anymore. Her attitude and face alone should turn people off

Dexter goes home. I think it was the right one out of who was in the bottom 2.

At this point, they all get to go on tour and, if they have real talent, somebody will give them another chance.

Bye till next week.

She is kind of biotchy but at least I can stand hearing her sing. She's the only one of the Alabama crew that sounded halfway decent last night.

Maybe so but attitude and personality should account for something too. And I cannot see her putting on a good show either.

I will never say CJ is the best singer out there, I actually enjoy his voice more than Jessica to be honest but his personality and the fact that he actually shows emotion when he sings and listens to the judges advice and tries to do what they say (and has) means so much more to me than someone like Jessica who to me doesn't have the best voice (very nasally and whiny) but her attitude stinks. She cant take criticism and tonight she was so pissed it was obvious. Once she was safe it was all fake smiles again

She really thinks she is so much better than the others..after all she has been doing 'sets" for a while :rolleyes1

I vote for Jessica because I like her voice. I'm not sure if she is a nasty person or if the face is more of a "I'm not going to let people know I am hurting" look.

Maybe because I have been accused of not being friendly and being the B word because I hide things behind my walls and that might look like I am but I'm really a big wuss and if I didn't hide my feelings and look tough or not caring I'd be a sobbing mess.

So that's why my cats tried to hide in the lavatory cabinet.

:lmao: Mine, too!

You just described my sister....:guilty:

She puts off like she's biotchy, too, but deep inside she's just a shy insecure wuss. I've spent my life making excuses for her and trying to explain her to people but now I'm way past that. We've finally reached an age that neither one of us cares anymore...:lmao:

BTW, we're IDENTICAL, 11 months apart and for years I had to hear this: "Robin, I saw you yesterday and said hello and all you did was roll your eyes at me and not speak!" :rotfl2:

I believe in miracles....the chopping-block show was only a half hour...we were spared.

I agree. Jessica is no American Idol.
CJ is so likeable. I would pay money to see CJ over Jessica. That's for sure.
I do think CJ should have gone weeks ago though. However, I really did like his solo performance on Wednesday night.

Another week, another AI bites the dust. We are getting closer to the This. Is. American. Idol moment.

I'd been curious to see how the competitors would go with picking songs for each other. Seems like everyone kinda played fair with their picks.

Firstly - Duets/Boo-uets. They might be using the duets and trios as a marketing ploy to entice viewers to go buy tickets when the Top 10 go on tour; but as there is as much chance of me buying a ticket to see the AI tour as there is for me getting to vote for AI....once again, the duets/trios do nothing for me. Stop it. Please.

Caleb. With a Kings of Leon song. Isn't there a Brother Caleb already in KoL? In any event, for the AI facsimile, it was a return to the Go-Hard rock Caleb that I love. Pure. Cream.

Jessica. S-M-I-L-E, Jessica. You won't break that face of yours if you exercise those little facial muscles. She's not A-Meuse-ing me tonight. Again.

CJ. He finally figured out how to sing in pitch with his song tonight. It still wasn't good enough for me to stop what I was doing online and look up. The irony of the performance? When they cut to the ads, the first commercial the channel played was an ad for John Mayer concert tickets. CJ is not in the same stratosphere at all.

Dexter. *sigh* Predictably boring. Dexter'll be good enough for the Friday/Saturday night bar scene. Not good enough for me to want to buy any music he puts out; if at all.

Alex. Was this a gimme or what? Being able to re-hash an audition song must have been the shoe-in choice for Alex to bring some A-game. I still love you and I would buy you, Alex. Musically speaking, of course.

Sam. You've been a really great toy boy eye candy right up until now but I'm pretty fickle with my toy boys. It might be time for you to Sail Away now. I really need a fresher toy boy on screen.

Jena/Gina Irene. Your Bangs Bang! You really could win this with those bangs. I love your edgy-ness with each passing week. Loved your performance tonight and I would so totally buy your (musical) single. Tomorrow!

On tonight's performance, Jena gave the most 'current' performance for me. Intriguing was the right word for her. She might be a bit screechy at the top register; but nothing a couple more years of experience wouldn't fix.

CJ, Dexter and Jessica are my bottom 3. Why don't we play catch up on the eliminations in one fell swoop? I'm not going to miss any of you three.
