I think between this year and last year with Jessica it is so obvious that Nigel wants a younger person to win. He wants to have a "Justin Beiber" female version. He knows that parents will pay out the you know what if their teeny bopper/youngster is in love with someone and he wants what he thinks is a money making machine. What he forgets is that the people who watch and vote are NOT in that age range.

I am guilty of being "that" parent. Back in the N'Sync days my kids wanted to see them so bad and we could not get tickets here..so DH said if I can find tickets anyplace within a 10 hour drive we can go...so we went to Washington DC to see a concert. LOL. This is what Nigel wants.

Granted, I'm late on this due to dinner out and talking to my sister, her husband and grand-niece when they came by....

Not sure how many MALES are going to pack arenas for a teenybopper act like the girls do. Girls at that age seem more into the cuteness factor than boys do. And that's what drives a lot of the sales for those acts.
