COLTON DIXON DIDN'T MAKE IT!?!?!?!? WHAT!?!?!?

i'm officially NOT IMPRESSED with Idol...yet again.

well. some i agree with tonight and some i don't. there were several at the beginning that i didn't think deserved to go through. oh well.

so, next week will cut it down to ten? that's a huge cut.

i really like Casey. his final performance was just so smooth and effortless. he didn't have to scream or belt. he is very talented and has an amazing amount of control.

james. ugh. please. i was not an Adam fan. but at least i could stand to listen to Adam. he didn't scream the ENTIRE song. who wants to listen to that. and many times, his screaming is off-key. gack. i hope he goes quickly.

of the girls, i like the two who were in school together? am i remembering right? they did the beatles duet together.

i really really hope that they don't push a contestant down our throats this year. it drives me nuts that they do that every year. for the past three years, America has NOT gone with the "chosen one." thank goodness, American chose David Cook. he's still my favorite Idol ever. sigh.

I was really sad to see him and Jaycee go. Honestly I can't figure out how they pick, I could name a few I would have sent home instead of those two.

yup good call! I was thinking this as well.. I believe a couple years ago when she was a little younger.. nice to see her improving.. she's done well for herself..

When Brett first auditioned I SERIOUSLY thought he was a joke audition. I am baffled as to how he is still on there.

I agree with all of these!! James is NO way Adam and should stop trying to pretend to be--Adam had talent, James does not. My daughter wants to know why he is always walking around with that rag in his back pocket that hangs down to his knees LOL.
I STILL think Brett is a joke!!

If James wants to be Adam 2.0 then he needs to get some style and learn to sing. There is a huge difference between singing high notes and screaming. I know a lot of people didn't like Adam showing his octive range because of the way he held his mouth and his tongue, but he was a trained and is very talented. This James guy is just a rock band frontman want a be. Not impressed.

Lauren, honey, you look like you are auditioning for the Toddler and Tiara show . She is still my early pick for a finalist though.

We are still giggling about "nuts of wonder" .

Jaycee would have done better on "America's Got Talent". I bet he gets some calls to sing the National Anthem places.

I also have a feeling that JLo and Steven are going to do something for -what's his name with the girl friend in the accident. I bet they set up a trust fund for her.

He has some ticks which become much more pronounced when he is stressed and nervous (which is pretty much all the time on Idol). Fighting against observations and assumptions like yours is a daily fight for those who have these conditions.
