American Idol Experience Audition

We've never gone to the American Idol Experience in our past visits, but DH is thinking about auditioning. Does anyone know where you sign up at DHS for a spot??

I've had both my dd's audition and get chosen for performances. There used to be AI CMs around the park entrance at opening time. You could go over and sing acappella for them. If they thought you were good, you got sent to the actual building to audition for a producer. But you can also just go to the rear of the building, by Sci-Fi, and there will be people out there, getting people to audition. It's best to do it first thing in the morning.

Before he goes he should pick some songs from the song list.

Get there early and pick your song early. My daughter made the show, but every time she tried to pick her song, someone else beat her to it. She got her 4th or 5th pick. It's first come first serve as far as picking the songs so you want to get your best song saved for you before someone else chooses it. Good luck!

You have to be 14. I know because my son, who is a professional actor actually, will be turning 13 while we are there this summer. He would love to audition as he also sings. When I contacted Disney, the CM told me that he HAD TO BE 14 and they would not make an exception.
