American Idol Corey Clark kicked off show

I read it happened in October and he is due in court next month for assaulting his sister and resisting arrest. Maybe AI should change their theme song to the one they use on Cops.

YET ANOTHER 'IDOL' ARREST
March 31, 2003 | Another "American Idol" hopeful is mired in controversy -- this time misdemeanor battery. The Shawnee County, KS, District Attorney's office has charged COREY CLARK with three misdemeanors including the battery and criminal restraint of his 15-year-old sister. A third count of resisting arrest has also been levied against him. The charges stem from an October incident when neighbors allegedly called Topeka police after hearing a girl yelling inside the Clark home. After both were reportedly questioned separately, Clark was allegedly forcibly placed under arrest. According to the Smoking Gun website, Clark is scheduled to appear in court April 15 and two of his sisters appear on the prosecution's potential witness list. When contacted by ET, FOX said they do not comment on the private lives of show participants.

That's exactly what I was thinking, Paula absolutely loves Corey! I can't stand him and I hate how Paula oohs and aahs over him .

Here's a news story about him being kicked off. No word as to what they'll do tonight. Seems to me they either have to bring someone back (please NOT Julia!), or they just won't eliminate anyone tonight. Otherwise, they won't have the right number of episodes left.

I'm guessing they will do one of two things. One, they could have them all perform tonight with no eliminations. Or two, they will eliminate someone tonight and use one of the future shows to do a special show, just showcasing their talent. Simon will probably bring back Kelly to perform again, and use that opportunity to remind everyone that she has a new CD out.

I heard on the radio this morning that his name had been spelled incorrectly somewhere, which is why this "little thing" didn't show up on his background check. Evidently he wasn't forthcoming with the information either.

He was set to be voted off anyway! Good riddance!!!!

Tonight will be interesting. I'm sure there will just be 8 of them and they'll go ahead and vote someone off.
