American Girl Dolls

I recieve the catalogue but I wondered if any stores carry the dolls. We are headed to Florida and I think my daughter may like one. I love the idea of them coming with a book. Kait is an avid reader are the books avail in stores on their own as well? Thanks Kathy

they do sell books at book stores around my house. Barnes and noble and boarders. You must order Dolls thru them unless you go to one of their stores in chicago or new york.

We love our dolls in our house. DD plays with them all the time. so worth the investment for us.

If you're a member at Sam's or other wholesale stores, you may be able to find the books in nice sets there. My dd's have read every single book in the series. Someone my husband worked with gave (yes, I said GAVE) us a doll and a bunch of accessories that their dd no longer wanted. DD8 then got another one for Christmas last year. I can't say that she plays with it often, but she does enjoy it.

If you haven't seen the movies, they're pretty decent, too. I think there's a new one coming out in November.
