American Express Lounge

Has anybody used this? Is it worth it?
Do you have to buy park to park tickets or just multiday tickets?

I'm under the impression you just have to show your AE card to the attendant in the lounge.

I used it just last week. I was only asked for my AmEx card even though I came prepared with my receipt showing I'd purchased passes online.

It is an unassuming entrance with a small placard that just says American Express Lounge (it's across from the gift shop for Shrek 4D). Inside is a small lounge area with several chairs and couple of tables. There is a beverage cooler that contained small bottles of water, a basket holding potato chips, and a basket holding granola bars. It has good AC, and was a nice spot to just chill for a little while. There is also a bathroom available. We enjoyed having a spot away from the heat with free snacks and water.

Thanks for the information. So, if I buy the tickets from Universal I can use it. We are planning on just getting 2 day base tickets.

There have been reports on this board of people just having to show their AMEX card to get in regardless of the tickets they have. On the Universal website, I believe it says you are eligible as long as you purchase a multi day pass (of which you are) using your Amex. I have read the lounge will be available until May 15th. Not sure what happens after that date.
