American Express Certificates

Does anyone know if American Express still offers the character breakfast certificates when you cash in your points?

I know I used them last year, but can't seem to find them on the REWARDS site now.

I would bet they are gone since Amex is no longer the "official card" for Disney.

Our certificates had a May 2003 exp. date and I was told no more would be available.

guess I won't be using my AmEx as a back up card this Dec. thanks for the info I was curious w/ the new Disney card if AmEx was a WDW freind or not

I think they still accept the AMEX, just there are no perks now. LIke the fanny packs or lanyards.

I plan on using mine next Sunday when I go.

I was there in April 2003 and they do take American Express just about everywhere--at least everywhere we went. Just don't give you any special perks. However, we use AMEX membership rewards program, which gives one Membership Reward point for every dollar spent--including at WDW. We have used the Membership Rewards points many times for free airline tickets. Last trip and next trip we all fly free thanks to this program. I intend to use AMEX for everything there!
