Has anyone heard what the American Express benefits will be for 2003 or when they will be available. I called Am Ex a couple of months ago and they said they were negotiating with Disney and might not be offering them for 2003. We have already prepaid our April 2003 cruise (with our American Express) and am sure hoping we will receive something similar to the "White Gloves" benefits.

I wouldn't be too hopeful that there will be White Glove for next year. Disney recently signed an agreement with Visa to issue a Disney Rewards type card. Rumor is that Disney isn't renewing it's agreement with Amex and Visa is going to be come the official card of WDW. I guess the best advice is to stay tuned......

HUH? What's this about an AMEX deal? I just helped some friends book a 2003 cruise and they reserved the deposit with their AMEX. How do I find out more info on this?

Here's a link to the American Express Website that discusses the Amex Caribbean Magic program for 7 day cruises or 7 day land and sea packages.

You have to make your deposit and final payment using your Amex Card to be eligible for the package.

You can add the package to your cruise through DCL, or your TA can contact DCL and then the DCL rep will contact the Amex people for you.

I don't recall if there is a package for 3 and 4 day cruises without the land portion involved or not. if there is, I can't find it on the Amex site.

It HAS NOT been made available for 2003 cruises yet.

hope that helps

I'm less than thrilled witn AMEX these days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Visa deal.;)

Thanks for the link - I booked this other couple through Dreams Unlimited so I'll email the rep and ask if this package can be included on the ressie if it is extended through 2003. Thanks all for the "heads up".

DCL is not part of AMEX's Platinum Cruise Priviledge Program for 2003. Big meeting was held today announcing it to the AMEX agents.

I would assume there will be no more AMEX Carribean Magic Packages either.
