Has anyone flown on American Eagle? We are on april 17th to Orlando. We are stopping at Raleigh. I got a good rate so I booked it. Now my husband is freaking out over it!!!! Is it THAT bad??? It looks like American Airlines operates this now. I booked through AA Web Site.

It has been part of AA for quite awhile. I have flown them quite a few times with no problems.

Thanks for your reassurance. Hopefully this will ease some of my husband's fears!!!

American Eagle flights are on Regional Jets, so don't expect a huge widebody aircraft. Headroom is just under six feet, so if you're tall, be prepared to duck when getting on the plane and stay ducked while you get to your seat. On many Regional Jets, roll-aboard luggage is checked before entering the plane and then they bring it back up to the jetway for you when you de-plane due to limited or non-existent overhead storage.
