American calling plans and texting plans with Rogers

Right now I am with Bell Mobility however when my contract is up I might want to switch my number to Rogers so I can get the BlackBerry Bold. Anyway I know Bell offers an American calling plan for 100 minutes and a texting plan that allows you to send up to 500 text messages while your in the United States. So I was wondering does Rogers offer similar plans just like that because I am sure they have something.

Rogers does have a plan...I am getting ready to book ours for a month for our trip in March.

I called to inquire & the cost is $40.00 for 60 minutes, sorry I didn't get the info on texting, but I will be calling tomorrow to set it all up for our trip.

I'll let you know what they say.

Well since I text a lot while in the USA 60 cents is a lot, which is why I hope they have a texting plan.

When we went down last August Rogers had no US texting plan.

Pick up a phone when at WDW will wind up being much cheaper.

Oh really, well that might make things harder for me if I switch to Rogers. However since my contract is not up until August I got time to think about that.

60 cents a text! What a rip-off! I write software for wireless phone systems and it costs the telephone company almost zero compared to the cost of single phone call!
