We have booked AA but fly on a BA plane from Gatwick on 30 October.

Does anyone if the hand baggage weight restriction is the same as BA or different as the website is very confusing.

Can anyone tell me if I can take a pram aswell as a suitcase for my son too. The pram is over 20lb as it packs into a carrier to protect it but again couldnt tell if I can take it.

thanks

As you are flying on a BA plane then you will be under BAs luggage allowances:

23kgs for a checked bag (1 per person in E)
23kgs for a carry on bag but you must be able to lift it into the overhead lockers
Children under 11 can also take in addition to the above one fully collapsible pushchair and one car seat.

All the information can be found here

I am not sure what sort of pushchair you have or how old your son is however you might want to consider what pushchair you take - I had 3 pushchairs for Disney over the years (fortunately at 6 it isn't something I have had to bother about for nearly 2 years now) as it's surprising how difficult and tiring it is pushing them round all day. My favourite was my last stroller a baby jogger city mini and it was truly wonderful. Light and easy to push and collapsed in an instant to go on the boats/buses.:goodvibes
