American Airline Airfare Big Drop

I've been tracking several flights on Yapta since May and finally got the alert I was hoping for. This flight has been steady at over $500. Yesterday morning it was $509.60. Then, in the afternoon, I get an email that the price had dropped almost 40%. Here's what I got for $309pp:

November Flight - Sat - NonStop from LAX to MCO 8:30a-4:15p
Mon - NonStop from MCO to LAX 12:55p-3:30p


Here's hoping others find the rate they're looking for.

Even though you only booked yesterday, you might want to recheck your flight. Last week, we booked on AA215 for travel on October 20 and that flight time has changed and will now depart 4 hours later. -- Suzanne

Thanks, will do.....I'll probably begin to monitor it once we're in the month of November.


We never make plans/reservations for the first day. As long as we make in good health and no lost luggage, I'll be in the "I'm on vacation" mode ..... "When we get there, we get there."

We just booked the 29th of Sept - 7th of Oct on American - DFW - MCO for 3 people for 624, 200 pp is not bad at all. Usually these fare deals are gone by the end of the Day.
