American Airfare sale

This morning I got notice that RT airfare from St. Louis to Orlando is $112!!!! This is for Aug and Sept. I think they are matching SW. Lowest I have ever seen, esp. for AA.

We got American for 93$ from St. Louis to orlando ROUND TRIP! october 2nd to 12th Woo Hoo!!!!!

We got it on the american web site about 2 weeks ago. We had been watching the fare for about 6 weeks prior to that. It started at about 152$...went down to 119$ and we were excited! I went to book it online and got sidetracked by the kids. About 1 hour later my hubby called from work and said it was lowered to 93$ if we left Orlando at 12:30 pm instead of 4:30. No Problem!!!!!!!! We have found that if you check the web site around 2pm (our time) the fares go down for a few hours. Since this was our first time ordering online we called American and talked to a information specialist and she walked us through the process. this was a web special..she couldn't get the same deal through the phone reservationist.

I would like to add that with 6 kids we have NEVER flown as a family...in fact our kids have never been on an airplane...we are so excited!!!! At 93$ we can afford to fly......beats van wear and tear..gas..food on the road....hotel on the way down and back...driving for 2 days down and 2 back (eats into our vacation time)...AND..wear and tear on our NERVES

I agree, flying is the only way to go if you can do it. Have a wonderful time. I wish I could get fares like that at Christmas. Has never happened.

My AA alerts page now has STL to Orlando listed at $369 !!! The air fare sale must be over!
