Hey Brides!

Anyone have their reception at the AA Parlour? (or have pictures of that from their PS?)

Can you have it so that it coincides with Illuminations?

We were going to have ours in the AAP, but our guest list outgrew the location, so we ended up at LSS. We did have our ceremony in the American Adventure Rotunda! Our reception would have been a brunch because of our early ceremony. I'm not sure about Illuminations, although, the view is blocked by the American Gardens Theater in front of the AAR.

Vanessa had such a beautiful wedding there...... I have seen girls on here who have had the reception where Vanessa had her ceremony...it is so gorgeous.

I thought about AAP originally and I was told that if you had your reception here, they would cordon off a little area somewhere for you to watch illuminations.

No, I don't think there was a fee, but that would just be an area that is reserved, no dessert party. Probably if you had a dessert party you might have to pay a fee...?

But I don't know...

Our reception was at the AA Parlour room this past June. There was only 15 of us and we used both of the rooms. Our reception started at 3.30 and finished at 8.30 ready for Illuminations which we watched from UK lower terrace.
The room is great and the view is amazing.

This was our dinner table.

how many people does the AAP hold?

The dining room holds 50 guests seated at rounds of 10, but changes in seating options and the addition of entertainment will change capacity. With dancing, the capacity is 30 people.

bummer, i really want a dance floor and we will definitely be having more than 30 people!

We only used the main room for our reception. It was originally the back up location for our dessert party, so they may let you have just the dessert party in there.
