America has been very stupid this season. First they voted off Amy, now LaToya. I just really hope fantasia doesn't win.

ANYONE but Fantasia!!! she bugs me...plus as we learned from last years season, people dont always vote for the singer with the most talent. LaToya was one of the best singers in the competition. Jasmine or Fantasia deserved to go home last nite. At least LaToya handled it with class

Ok, I dont really watch the show or nothing, but I always watch the Try-outs just to see how bad some people really are. When I saw the Hawiian Girl, I said to my mom, shes gonna be in the top 2..I dont know why but I did. Im smart.

PS: This summer, Im gonna try out for American Idol..My Plan? Be so bad I have to make it to TV, and maybe get a record deal like William Hung. Go Me!

I like American Idol n all, and I watch it, but I hate how this is sort of the "easy-way-in" for singers. Don't get me wrong, the people do go through alot of stuff but I personally think that to be a musician/singer you should earn it, not just get voted by america who gets to and doesn't, but by working day and night, doing show after show(ones where YOU pay them, not THEM pay you!), contest after contest, callin this and that and him and her trying to get a record deal, spending every penny you have towards your dreams and hopes and hopefully your soon to be career!! To me, THAT is how you become a TRUE artist! Anyone else out there agree? PLEASE don't take this offesivly, it's just my opinion

The vote the other night didn't really surprise me...I mean people who like the Music that La Toya and Fantasia sing are going to split the vote...in other words... they don't get as many votes as everyone thinks, while the other people have one Diana and One Jasmine...I do agree though that if one of the singers out of La Toya or Fantasia should have been Fantasia...I find her very annoying...and I dislike her Attidude! Jasmine though should have been the one to leave just on the fact that she didn't give that great of a performance, but I think the only one that gave an OUTSTANDING performance was Diana! She is by far the Best singer in the Competition not just by voice but also by personality and Attidude! She should DEFINATLY win this year! Also like so many others have pointed out, this year the competition was definatly not that great! I totally agree! There is DEFINATLY no Clay or Kelly in this bunch! I happen to love both of their voices and they are 2 of the best singers I have ever heard!

I am dead serious. Auditions are gonna be in Manhattan sometime this summer..me and my friend are gonna do it.

I wasnt laughing at you...what you said was just funny.

Also, you have to be 16 to audition. I want to try out also but the lines to get into just the preliminary auditions are nuts. People sleep outside for days. You aren't even guaranteed to make it to the prelims if there are too many people. It also annoys me that they let so many bad singers through just to make good auditions shows, and so many more deserving singers don't get a chance.

And one of my friends from school..
is tryin out for real.. and she said she would save me and my friend a spot to do this
