I'm not sure if this is already a thread, sorry if it is.

So in school today we had to write an essay about why we love America. Then we had to read what we had to our class. Everyone's essays were so different and interesting so I was wondering, why do you love America?

I know some people on here do not live in America. So I guess this is directed toward the people that do live in America.

I love america because I love it. Gah, I can't think of another way to say it. I love my country. I don't love the government, I don't love the choices we make or the things we do, all the time, but I love my country. My heart flickers for a second everytime I see an american flag, or someone in our Armed Services. I'm so proud of that flag, and I'm so proud of the people who defend it. My country has done what no other country in the world can say, we DEMANDED our independence, then we granted independence to every other person who wanted it, we are the first to stand up with a helping hand when an ally is in need. We are technologically advanced, socially advanced (not as much as some parts of europe, but we're getting there.)

I love america, because i love the unity that we have. You and I are different in every way, but we are btoh american, we both salute the same colors, we both sing the same ballad, we both stand under the same government. We are recognized as being different (man, woman, child, mother, wife, husband, father, republican, gay, straight, democrat, green party, fire fighter, policeman, social worker, artist, teacher, friend, enemy, soldier, protester) but we are also the same (american)

i know that i just jumped all over the place, but I love America.

I love our freedoms. There are so many countries out there that will get persecuted for their religous beliefs or political beliefs. We are protected. We have rights.
The diversity. Nobody is alike. You'll see people from all over the world in this country. They came to make better lives from the ones they used to have. It's a new world here. Different cultures blend to create cultural assimilation. Traditions and holidays of all over are celebrated.
It's a fresh breath every second. You'll meet so many inspiring people in your life. America is the birthplace of so much history. Inventions, foundations, bases for knowledge. We all strive for what is best for us and it can happen here. Nobody can stop you from chasing your desires and lifetime aspirations.
Your dream is to open up your own baker? School? Toy store? Go do it. It's possible here. This is the American Dream. We can chase our desires. This is it.

I don't LOVE America.
I only like it.
I love the earth but.. not America. When you say America its more like the gov. instead. I like to think of the world in general. Not just certain parts of it.

I have no choice to love it or not, I bet you all are saying "This doesn't sound like you.." well.
Its true.
Its where my parents wanted to live, I have no choice at all.
My life? Means NOTHING so far I am just here.
So when you ask WHY i love America I don't have enough reason to write an entire paper on it.
Not even close.

Silly people, you all forgot the most important reason:

Because only America has a Disneyland AND a Disney World!


But seriously, I don't think there is a certain reason why I love America more than any other country. I feel as though I'm to young and inexperienced to realize all that America has to offer their people. I mean, I'm only 15 and the most political I get is mock debates and trials in my US History class. At this point in my life, just put me somewhere with my family and friends and I'll be happy. When I'm older and truly understand all that America has to offer, than I'm sure I'll have a better answer. I mean, I understand all the violence and corruptness that is going on in other countries, so I'm grateful to be living where I am and to have the opportunities and freedoms that I do, but they're just something that have been offered to me all my life, and I don't know life any other way.
