Has anyone flown America West via Phoenix into SNA?

What can you tell me about them (we've never used them before and it says on our ticket - eventhough we are flying out at 7:30 am from Toronto to Phoenix - 4+ hours flight-no meals)? What about movies/entertainment and internet hookups?

America West is a fine, no-frills airline. No food, no internet, no movies.

Would we be able to bring our laptop and our own movies to use on the flight?

Mom-rules,
Not sure of what you can bring on the flight, but bear in mind it is only one hour. It goes by pretty quickly. I wouldn't worry too much about games and/or food. Just pumping up for DLR

Actually our flight goes from Toronto to Phoenix-41/2 hrs then 1 hour stopover and another 1-1/2 to SNA.
