those who have flown america west - please tell me their planes DON'T have individual screens!?? and can i assume that with a red eye that the airline won't show a movie (5 hr flight)?? i'm worried the kids won't sleep!

The america west planes I've been on did not have the in seat entertainment systems. However, America West is now part of US Airways, so I'm not sure. Here is what I found on their site:

Our complimentary audio and video entertainment is available on select Airbus A319, A320, A321, A330, Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft. You may use your own headsets or purchase headsets for $5 USD that can be used on future US Airways flights. Complimentary noise-reduction headsets are available in our Envoy Class cabin.

That was about the US Airways fleet of planes.

I would hope that on a red eye flight there would be no movie.

Don't worry. None of the aircraft listed have individual screens except the Airbus 330, and that's on US-Europe flights.

whew! now if only i can get my ADR for chef mickey when i want it........ :sad2:
