Amenities????

Ok, I have information overload and the old brain is not computing very well. I read in several posts about the "AMENITIES" at such and such resorts. What are the extra amenites that you get with each grade of resort, that are so special/desirable?

With mods, you get the extras like:


Covered bus areas
Multiple quiet pools
Restaurant
Lounge with entertainment; POR and POFQ.
Marina with boat rentals; all but CSR.
Separate sink area and dressing area from tub/water closet.
Queen beds; except CBR.
Half size fridges
Hot tubs at main pool
Additional themed rooms; CBR and POR.

Values have all of those too, I'm pretty certain

Values only have dorm sized beverage coolers; mods have half sized fridges.
I don't know of any values that have the curtain (or the door at CSR) on the dressing area.

Ah that's true, didn't think of the fridge SIZE just that they had fridges. As for the curtain they definitely have one at the Pop since we used it constantly as a dressing area with some privacy!

Deluxes, in general, have:
-larger rooms
-smaller resorts, most rooms are close to main buildings (dinning/pool/transport).
-varied forms of transportation (bus, boat, monorail).
-some are within walking distance of select parks, some you can see the parks and fireworks from rooms/grounds.
-various dinning options. Most have at least 1 QS, 1 TS and 1 signature dinning. Many have character dinning. Lounge/bar. Room service. Some have dinner shows.
-elaborate theming in rooms, main building and pool. Pool slide. Hot tub/spas.
-most have spas, salons and/or fitness rooms on site.
-have other activities like boating (marina), beaches, seeing animals (AKL)
-on site child care (kids clubs)
-most rooms have balconies/patios
-rooms enter from indoor hallways
-valet parking
-high end gift shop

OP if you go to the WDW website and click on any specific resort, and then click on amenities and services you will pull up a page that lists all of these for you, both public ones and those in the rooms. Some amenities and services will be found across the board in each category of resorts. Others will be specific to that resort.
