Thanks in advance everyone for the wealth of information available here.

My family is staying at SSR in a 2 bedroom suite in September, and I'm working on our packing list.

I know I need to bring laundry detergent, and that dish soap and dishwasher detergent are provided.

My DH is a coffee drinker, do I need to bring coffee filters? I've got coffee and the grinder on the list.

Also, how many plates/cups/silverware servings are there in a 2 bedroom? We have 4 adults and a 3 year old and a 7 month old going, so I need 5. If there are four standard, I may pack in a few plastic plates/bowls for the 3 year old along with the baby's bowls and spoons.

Any other helpful information? What building should I request? We're going to be coming back every day mid-day to eat lunch and have naptime, so what is the best building on the bus route? I figure we can walk to the pool, but it would be so much easier to be closer to the bus, especially one that's less full!

Hi, I have the same question about coffee filters in a studio at BWV.
Thanks in advance!!!

There will be one or two prepackaged coffee packets. The coffee makers are full sized Mr Coffee brand brewers that take the basket (flat bottom) style of filters.

I really enjoy staying at SSR, we were there this past Thanksgiving, also in a 2br. My favorite area of SSR's is Congress Park, Downtown Disney View. It's close to one of the quiet pools. We don't mind walking but our children are grown so you may prefer a location closer to the main pool/Artist Palette etc.

Depending on how much cooking you plan to do, these things I find essential:

I bring a coffee mug, the cups though nice are very small. You could however buy a mug at the gift shop as a souvenir rather than tote one along. I bring a few zip lock bags of various sizes, along with a few sheets of aluminum foil & coffee filters. This does not take up much room in a suitcase etc., better than having to buy a big quantity of them. I do likewise with salt, pepper, sugar and seasoning mixes.

Your children are so cute! Enjoy your stay!

As previous posters have stated, there will be a starter pack (or 2) of coffee in all rooms - 2 BR and Studio. Beyond that you need to bring your own coffee and filters. There will not be any condiments in the Villas either.
A 2 BR will have dishes/glasses/silverware/serving ware for 8
Have a Great Trip
