Oh, Amber, the dog eating your chocolates made me laugh & want to cry (or kill a dog) at the same time! It's SO awful when they do that - and not too good for their digestion, either. Makes me hope it gets a BAD case of tummy trouble for someone OTHER than YOU to clean up!!!

I'm glad you & DH got to get away for a short time. You definitely need it!

I'll be praying your house gets done quickly. Very frustrating!!
