Just do NOT buy if you or your DH/DW use any kind of equipment while wearing their ring. (I grew up on a farm so that's what springs to mind.)

If it should happen to get caught- well, your spouse will lose their finger because the ring can't be cut off.

The warning above goes for our service men/women as well. When my son (Marine) was getting married the jeweler explaind this to my dil.

Wow.

I'm glad I clicked on this thread! DH's wedding band is titanium. I'll let him know!!

It can't be cut off if your finger swells, either. And it's not uncommon to try and get a slightly too-tight ring on, then be unable to get it back off (because it cuts off your circulation slightly).

Titanium bands also can't be resized, as I understand it.

Per my jeweler, if you were recently able to slip the ring on before trying to cut off a ring when a ring won't come back off because it's a little tight, run cold water over your hand to help shrink your hand then spray your hand with windex wiggling the ring while spraying which should help the ring slip off.

Uh Oh, I didn't know this... DH has a titanium ring. Is Tungsten similar? Should I just get him a stainless steel one? Ahh crap! I'm worried now.

now this may be a dumb question but are these mainly wedding or can you get these just for style and wear them on other fingers....some say wedding so i would obviosuly stay away from those, but some look kool just ot wear...

Call me a skeptic, but what's the catch??? How can a $225 ring be reduced to less than $10??

I was considering this for DH - he's very unhappy with his gold wedding band as it did not live up to our quality expectations. The titanium sounded like a good idea because of its durability, but with the nature of his work (works with heavy duty equipment), I'll have to rethink this!

My hubby has a titanium ring, and according to the research we did, the ring can be cut off. The problem is, supposedly not every ambulance has the proper tool, and it can take several minutes.

We got a titanium ring as my husband's second wedding band...he's a drummer, but his gold ring was getting misshapen when he played, so he'd take that one off on weekends he played and wear the titanium one. (His idea to get a second ring--good job honey! :goodvibes) He's lost some weight and that ring is a smidge big now, so this would be a good time to get another one. (And he found ones that he'd like to wear as an extra ring, for the person who asked if they were just supposed to be wedding bands. The first one we got on ebay for a decent price, but these prices are outstanding--thanks OP!

Correct, they can be cut off, just not as quickly or easily as a gold band.

My husband & I have matching Titanium rings. We love them & highly recommend them.

My husband had a titanium engagement ring ... I didn't make him do it...he was like Corey on Boy Meets World he wanted one! ha ha. So anyway, he has scratched the heck out of his wedding ring so is back to wearing the titanium one...he's a carpenter, do you think I should tell him to nix wearing it? I'm a bit worried now.

Thank you OP! My brother is getting married and wants a titanium ring for himself, so I sent him the link. THANKS!!!!!

My DH is a cop and never wears a ring at work. I would think wearing a ring as a carpenter could be a bit dangerous in case it gets caught on something:confused3

Unwanted merchandise isn't a deal at any price. Obviously they couldn't sell them for $225 now they just want to get rid of them. If you think it's a spectacular deal buy a few hundred and resell them.

I ordered one of these from Amazon last week and it arrived today. I'm very happy! The ring is stunning! Kohl's has one very similar to the one we bought, but the Kohl's ring is $120 on "sale" from $299 which is inflated, I'm sure. You can't go wrong for $10 bucks on a ring that won't rust, corrode, lose it's shine and won't turn your finger green. I can buy a cheap ring from Avon which will last maybe a few months before it starts to rust. Even though the original listed price is inflated, I still think these are a great deal!
