Amazon Prime Now strategy

I posted this in another forum but it was suggested that I post here.

We are arriving at POR in just under 2 weeks for a short 5 night stay. In the past we have always used Garden Grocer because we were staying 10 nights and needed a lot of stuff. Now that we have such a short stay we won't need much so I am considering Prime Now. Is it possible to order the items before I get on the plane and have everything delivered to the hotel? Will they hold the groceries the same way that they hold them for Garden Grocer?

With Prime Now you can order and choose a window that is later. You just click show all available times. To order from a different area you just put the proper zip code for delivery into the first screen. So say your flight is at 8 am you can log onto the app and put items in your cart then at processing put the 2 hour window you believe you will be there.

Your items will either be at the front desk or at bell services. If it has perishables I would write in the notes section please the receiver know items should be refrigerated.

We received our delivery at AKL while at a park so went to Guest Services. Guest Services said they didn't have it so check with Bell Services. Went to bell services and saw it on the counter. Bell Services fought with me that they did not received delivers and GS had it or it wasn't delivered. I said 3 times can you please just check as Guest Services said that you probably had it like with grocery deliveries. The guy finally huffed and puffed and checked. Went in the back and then was like Oh I forgot to read the ledger. He said nope it isn't here never looking at the two bags on their counter behind the desk. I asked him to please check those and he finally did then kept saying no nope these aren't yours even though I could see my name written on them! I hope you have a better experience then I did. It was definitely the bell services CM and not Amazon though that made the whole process more than it should be. Also shocked me that someone took in packages and didn't log them because the name was put on the bottom of the address instead of on top. There was just 0 common sense going on there.
