Yesterday the Mr. Potato Head Pirate kit I ordered was delivered. Oh wow, I was so surprised at what it is! I thought it would just be a box of potatoes and parts, but it comes in one of the BIG potato heads, and he's dressed as a pirate. It's so cute!! I bought it when it was priced low, $7.99, and it is now $19.99. But I tell ya, I think it is totally worth the $19.99! Free shipping right now too:

Good to know, I was confused by the picture and thought about ordering it, I might keep watching to see if the price goes down. It sounds like it is what you full at Disney World at Downtow Disney.

Oh boy, I placed ANOTHER order! BUT, they had this tricycle for $40 off and I couldn't stop myself. I had looked at it at the LL Bean store and DH and I almost bought it there for full price, but I resisited the urge. I'm so glad I did, because I got it for $49.99! I'm not sure if it will be a Christmas or birthday gift yet, but I think DS will love this!

Which one did you get? My DD would LOVE that Minnie Mouse one, but my DH might kill me if I purchase anything else!

I had emailed them about an Aquadoodle going down in price. I then went back to look at it, not more than a couple minutes after I sent the email, and suddenly it had jumped way UP in price. I did not get the credit on that. But, like I said, it literally happened in a matter of minutes, maybe seconds, so I really didn't expect to get it.

I do wonder what the official policy is on this though. I mean does it go by what the price is at the time of the credit request (are they even able to determine this if this is done via email?), or does it go by the price at the time they check the price themselves?? I don't know.

I hope you get your credit though! :)

Well I just went in and looked at my order and it shows that I the refund is processing for the two dolls, so obviously they can check the time of the e-mail and what the price was at that time. I always make mention of what price I paid and what Amazon is showing at that time.

One thing I was surprised to see is that I asked for the refund for the AA doll too which wasn't on sale and I am getting $5.something back for that one!

 BACK TO AMAZON SHOPPING!!

I got the regular red one. It is just so cool looking. I haven't seen the Disney ones in person, so I thought I"d go with the more classic trike.

BTW, we saw the pink one in person and it is adorable!

I LOOKS adorable! We have one of the Radio Flyer trikes, so I am sure if I bought that for my DD, DH WOULD freak. He has taken all of the orders in stride through...might have to show him. Nice that it qualifies for free shipping...I was going to order the plastic Dora trike (which is cheaper and would weigh less) but it wouldn't ship for free and I refused to pay $14.99 to have it shipped.

This thread is the reason the budget board always COSTS me money. lol
That's the best price I've ever heard of on Scene It games and the ones on sale are the new deluxe 2nd editions in the tins!!!

Yes, it's like that. We just bought a box full of parts this past October in WDW, and we got some pirates parts (Captain Jack and Captain Hook) so this will supplement those. :)

Oh yeah, now I see the refund status info at the bottom, I didn't notice that before.

That's great you got your refunds! :)

Yes, the tins are very nice! :) I bought the Harry Potter 2nd edition and the Disney 2nd edition. There's a "Movie" one that's cheap now too:
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_...alias=toys-and-games&field-keywords=scene+it+

Yeah I got 2 of the new Harry Potter ones (one for me, one for a gift) and 1 of the new movie ones (also for a gift). I also got 2 of the travel ones for stocking stuffers. Does anyone know the differences (other than the obvious size difference) in the travel edition and the regular ones?

I have the travel TV version of scene it and it does not have the trivia cards and buzz cards of the larger versions. All the questions pertain to the DVD, whereas in the large versions, depending on what you roll, some questions may be asked off cards or you have to draw a buzz card and do what it says. Also, the games seems to be a "best of" of the larger versions. I don't think there are as many clips or questions as the boxed version -- at least it seems so to me. The travel ones are still fun, but a little more limited tan the boxed version. But they are entertaining on a trip, which is what matters.

A camera I had in my cart since about July just went down to $239! Yay! You guys are getting such awesome stuff too!

Can I be your kid?

Some of the things I ordered last night have already shipped - talk about fast!!!

The Glo-E animals are really cute. I ordered somelast year and we've given a few as gifts. My girls are both getting the bear w/ wand/storybook - ($9.00 right now). I thought about ordering the monkey ($6.00), but since I already have the bears I decided to just go w/ those....

OK, I just ordered the really cool interactive doll called Amazing Dolls-Amazing McKayla Ethnic. I'm not sure if this doll is supposed to be African-American or Hispanic? Either way, it is really pretty. My dd is half Puerto Rican and I like her to have lots of ethnic dolls to show her all the different people of the world. Originally $119, I got it for FREE because I signed up for an Amazon credit card. I will be cancelling that card when I get it. :thumbsup2

Seriously, keep the card! I have had an Amazon credit card for three years. You get 1 point for every dollar you spend and when you reach 2500 points ($2500) they send you a $25 gift certificate. Amazon.com purchases are triple points.

We use our card to buy everything during the month and the pay it off. So, I've gotten quite a few gift cards over the years! I save them up sometimes and use them to buy one big thing or a use them here and there. They've come in handy this Christmas! :thumbsup2

Does anyone have a link to the polly pocket coupon on amazon? Thanks!

I bought the Caucasion version for DS :) (his request). You got a great deal. I originally purchased one on buy.com for $64.99 and used Google checkout for $10 off. I was sick when I saw the Amazon price drop to $34.99 I ended up returning the doll to buy.com and purchased through Amazon. (I'm hoping for another price drop.) It cost me $11 to ship it back. But, I still came out ahead and from what I understand I can use the google checkout promo again once the return has been processed.:thumbsup2
