Amazing Race ***heads Up***

I was just checking out the schedule for this evening....whats on...what I have to DVR etc. It looks as though there is GOLF on at the moment...when the news is suppose to be one....which means one thing. Amazing Race will probably be coming on late...so if your going to record it....make sure you plan accordingly.

Who else hates AR being on Sunday night????

I don't like the delays - who would have thought that after football season- but Sunday is nice because DS loves it and there is no homework on Sundays.

We usually set the DVR up to record all night on Sundays now. I missed a few too many endings and have gotten smart!

I watch the Grease show also - that comes on at 8 p.m. - I bet I will have to switch between the channels which stinks as I do not know how to tape with our TV

I just got a DVR, and I have it set to tape Amazing Race, Cold Case, Desperate Housewives, Without a Trace and Brothers and Sisters just tonight.

How do I fix it so I don't miss anything?

When you tell it to record to the right of the option of "record this program" or "get a season pass" is an oval that says "options".

Highlight either one time record or season pass and press the right arrow to move to the "options" and hit select. There will be an option for stop recording..... you go to that one and change it to however long you want it to keep recording. I just moved AR to 3 hours.

I'm just reading this thread now - but the show is just starting now introducing the teams.... hope that helps by planning on adding on 25 minutes to the end of your record times.

Edit to add, the clock on my computer was about 8:25 pm EST when I noticed the show on...just thought I would add this as Disboards time & my time never match.

I am recording Grease, Amazing Race ( that channel from 8-9 and then from 9-10)( so to make sure I get it all) and then of course Desperate Housewives.
