Amazing halftime show

I thought she looked amazing. Sad that some people felt the need to body shame her, but that's just a reflection on them and their own insecurities.

If you look at the lyrics to This Land Is Your Land and Born This Way you'll see she was definitely delivering a message.

Does Ga Ga know the original meaning of this land is your land and did she mean to convey that meaning given the short portion she included? I don't think we'll truly know unless she tells us.

I thought it was a nice half time show. Like the commercials, the last few years have been more hype than substance. Hers was actually ok. Definitely not my favorite music, but she can sing, and it wasn't obnoxious politically like some had said she was going to be, so I am eternally grateful for that. Hopefully next years show will take a cue from her.

Yes, she alluded to that in interviews. As @cabanafrau described earlier it was all about unity and harmony.

I became a bit of a fan when she performed live on the Howard Stern Sirius show. She has an incredible voice and I think she did a wonderful job for the half time show. Good on her!

On the "old songs", I can't see making that a bad thing. She had to do a show for millions of people, the vast majority of whom are NOT big fans of hers. Need the music to be as recognizable as possible, IMO.

As far as the drones go, yeah - they weren't live. I've heard rumors that her singing from on top of the roof wasn't live either, as they had to record that with the drones.

Intel had a drone demonstration at the Super Bowl fan festivities last year. Didn't go, as there was a ridiculously long line.

Everything up to when she was arriving on the stage on the field was pre-recorded.

It was just my opinion. The roof/drone/jump thing was cool, although it was pre-recorded. I read this morning the FAA would not permit that to be done live. But her repelling from the ceiling and landing on the stage was live of course. I don't think it was a bad performance by any means, just safe by Gaga standards. I was glad she did not go the political route, though.

I had my suspicions that the roof jump wasn't live. The logistics involved would seem to be too daunting for the time allotted. Then I read the following day that it was pre-recorded. That's fine. It was a phenomenal performance.

Just take the performance for what it was, entertainment.

All this garbage really needs to stop.

A subtle message was there for those who recognized it, and it was just entertainment for those who didn't. Not many performers could pull that off successfully.

It was a fantastic show. She is so beautiful when she isn't dressed or made up crazy! When she was at the press conference talking, she was almost unrecognizable (at least from when I've seen her usually, meat dress anyone?). After her performance at the Super Bowl, I'm starting to get into her music. Some of those songs are pretty catchy!

Sad that there are people who were shaming her body. She's seems more fit than most. She rocked all the outfits she had, IMO!
