We just arrived tonight after our drive from CT. We took 84-81-77-26-95, and it went very smoothly. Once we hit 95 we saw almost constant backups of folks heading back north on 95.
I had won a Priceline bid a little over a month ago for Gaylord Palms, and when I confirmed the room was expecting 2 queen size beds, and a Florida (parking lot) view. DS15 came in to check in with me, and to our amazement the cordial desk person said we have a lovely suite for you, overlooking the St. Augustine atrium.
This room is phenomenal! We have a king bed in a separate room, two balconies, a huge dining table that sits 8, and a living area with pull-out sofa, and oversized wicker chairs facing a 35 inch TV (there's another in the bedroom).
I can post tonight because the $10 resort fee includes a computer, and internet access. Self-park was $7.
I wish I could always stay here in this kind of room--we're going to check out the spas and pools next!
