Amazing Expedia.ca Rates for DLR Hotels!

Everyone who's getting these amazing rates, just be prepared to tack on the resort fee when you check-in or check-out. Usually, that's not included in the quoted price. It's $12.95/day, I believe (covers parking, internet, pools, exercise rooms, etc. whether you use them or not.)

I wish I were going in the fall! I'd love to get those rates!!!!!

Well, I just let my kids decide where they want to stay. I gave them the pros and cons of each, and from a kids point of view they picked the pirate kids suite at the HOJO.

Yep, even though the pool slide is longer at the PPH, they picked the HOJO because Castaway Cove has, in their words, "more stuff to do" - LOL. Yeah, I guess it does.

Plus, what could possibly beat sleeping in bunk beds......in your own room......where you can watch cartoons on your own TV while falling asleep. Life doesn't get better than that...for kids. :goodvibes

The resort fee is now $16 per night, but still, with a rate of $91 per night, that's an incredible deal at $107 per night plus tax. :thumbsup2

Hmmm...I must have missed out on the dates. I can't seem to find them. :confused3

I would have made the same choice, Capri! I really hope you enjoy the HoJo Kids' suites!

I'm having to cover my eyes with all these great DLR deals appearing, and stick to my guns while we're on a Disney hiatus.

I found it. You have to book 4 nights to get the rate. Darn it! We're only planning on being there 3.

Is that $16 plus tax? I believe the tax rate is 15%, making it $18 after tax, right?

After reading these numbers I was a bit concerned as the resort fee was only $10 in 2007. I just called and the fee is $12/night plus the 15% anaheim tax so $13.80/night

On Expedia, it says the daily resort fee is $16 per night, but maybe it's higher when you book through Expedia. :confused3

I too am not finding this rate :confused3 , and I am entering 4 nights. Telling me the average rate is $245. Any suggestions or tips - because we are considering staying at PP.

By the way, my dates (nights) would be 10/7 - 10/10. Anyone with similar dates or close to it find the rate?

I saw the rate last night for our dates 10/5 to 10/9, however when I plugged in your dates into Expedia I got:
X - We could not confirm availability for this date

This makes me think that these rooms are all sold out for those dates.

Yeah I just tried again too. It is now showing the $100 rate, but only for two of our days, our first and last day :guilty:. Can't seem to find availability for the two days in between. People stop reserving !!! Just kidding, congratulations .

I checked our dates in October and was quoted $100 even per night plust taxes and the resort fee for a total of $525 or $131/nt I actually have another hotel reserved just across the street from the entrance ( Best Western Anaheim Inn) for a total cost of $409 for the same dates. My question is, is it worth an extra $116 to stay at the PPH? Last April we stayed at the best western and was happy with the location. Just not sure about PPH. Any Advice?

Between the BW Anaheim Inn and PPH, I would pick the PPH hands down. The amenities are nicer and you get multiple MMs as an on-site guest.

Two questions after playing around with Expedia:

After seeing this thread, I went to expedia.com and was able to find the cheap rates, but they kept saying that the prices were for 2 people...and that there could be fees for more than 2 people. But as part of my quote it said 2 adults, 2 children (which is what I selected). Would I have to pay anything extra because there are 4 of us when I got to the PPH?

Also....when trying to book the DLH, it said the "standard" room could have 2 queens or 1 king. We can do 2 queens, but couldn't stay in 1 king. It didn't look like there was a way to pick one or the other. Is there a way to ensure we would have the room with 2 Q beds?

We were not planning on staying onsite, but these rates seem super low....

It appears the rates are now going up and/or the dates are getting sold out.
As far as the resort fee goes - if you stay onsite, you will have to pay it so it is really not an issue. Offsite may not charge it but then you are offsite and no MM!

I booked for 4 people and did not pay more. Also, I think when I actually booked, you can specify your preference for beds although they will never guarantee it because generally with hotels, it is first come first served and if the person who checks in just in front of you takes the last room with 2 queens, then you are left with the king. It is like that at any hotel.

I think since the other 2 in your group are children, they wouldn't count. I believe they only charge extra for more than 2 adults.

As to the 2 queens beds, I'm pretty sure they have to give you the 2 beds since there is 4 in your group. I don't think fire codes allow them to have more than 2 in a king room.
