Ime still excited about the whole holiday no one can shut me up about it, and i have already started planing the next one which will be for a 4 weeks stay.

We stayed in the double tree resort villas at maingate, on the 192. It was a base and the villas were nice, but the pampering and the welcome that we got elsewhere, we did not get there. We plan to rent a big villa next time with our own pool. Your roads are lovely to drive on and we found the traffic lights system you have much easier than our roundabouts here in Britain.

We had done Mgm, MK, Epcot, AK,TL, DD,shopping, 2 character breakfasts, fantasmic, seaworld, in the first 9 days of being there. It was very tireing, but with all the help from this board and carrying on like a seargent major in the mornings, it went like clock work.

The last half of the holiday was a lot more ralaxed and we did all the universal parks.

Next time we go we would like too do more of the small things that florida has to offer in the first 2 weeks (as it wil be easter)and then do the parks in the last 2 weeks.

We arrived on the 16th April and we only had 10- 20 min waits for rides which was great. The only park that had 60 min waits for rides was Mk and that was on a quiet day that i had chosen to go on.

The holiday was a memory that myself and my family will never forget, we just cant wait to go back.

Oh! and i will never forget how wishes made me feel , i have goose pimples now, just thinking about it , it brought tears to my eyes.

I could go on forever, but i wont bore you all

Thanks Marv

Thank you for your report. It is nice to hear about the US from other eyes, especially friendly ones!:wave2:

So glad to hear you had a good time. WDW is a wonderful place. Have fun planning your next trip.

So glad to hear you had a great time, but I just have to ask. . .What the heck is roundabouts??

Hi ms mouse

A roundabout here in britain is a big circle of land with the road running around it. it separates diferent exits, so if we drive on the left come up to the roundabout but we must give way to the right. You stop at the juction on the roundabout then wait for the right side traffic to go by then start to go round the roundabout if you want to turn right. As i said your traffic system is alot easier as you are being told by the lights when you can leave, as here we have to rely on the other driver on the right. We had a bump in our car on a rounabout before we left for Florida had no problems on your roads such a simple way to drive Brilliant!

Thanks Marv

I enjoyed your report! Glad to hear your whole family had fun. Believe it or not, but we have one roundabout here in Lexington, Kentucky. When they first opened it there was a big contraversy about it that stayed on the news and radio talk shows for a while. No one liked it. Now, everyone has gotten used to it. But each time one of my family drives it we shake our heads and wonder why?

wow 4 weeks vacation. You have to be near retirement, not that I am saying you are old, to get that kind of vacation in the US.

My husband was at a Car Dealership for 15 years and he had 3 weeks. He needed another 15 before he got another week, anyway, he got laid off and now he has a new job, but no vacation for a year.

No were not nere retirement yet! We are very lucky to be able to to take long vactions. If we holiday here in Britian its usually 2weeks. Florida was the best holiday that we have had and we didn't want to come home. We met Americans on holiday that couldn't understand why we would fly for 9 hours to florida, then i couldn't undrestand them driving for 23 hours to florida then go home after 4 days. You have such a big country that driving a couple of days to get any where is like a drive down the road to you all. Here in britain our roads are so small and conjested, its just no fun driving anywhere. To take a holiday in Florida is much cheaper for us than hopping over to spain, that's why we can do a 4 week stay. We met a lot of you that would love to come to England but its sad that are country is so expensive. I would say that London is the favourite place to go for tourists, but we live in somerset and this part is a lovely place to come too especially in the summer and would be alot cheaper.

Thanks marv
