I phoned the company we've booked a villa with this afternoon. The phone call was very informative and the lady I spoke to very helpful. When I came to pay she said she couldn't take a debit card payment at the moment as BT were working outside their offices and it might be seven weeks before their system was working properly so I said I would post a cheque.
At the time I was quite happy but now I'm wondering if there is some other (more sinister?) problem that might prevent them from accepting cards. I think I might have seen too many editions of Watchdog!
DH thinks I'm worrying about nothing, but I am rather uneasy. Anyone else come accross this problem?
