Am I understanding the 125% credit correctly?

I wonder if it is because my rescheduled cruise is beyond the 2 year period

The new cruise I booked is also past my 2 year period. They are honoring them past the 2 years if your cruise was cancelled.

You get refunded the amount you actually paid out of pocket. You don't get to keep the additional "credit."

this is a little discouraging because I asked my dreams unlimited agent this exact question and was given a different answer. she told me the entire amount was non-refundable. Because of that answer I didn’t book. I guess she was given incorrect info by dcl.

The 100% cruise credit that Disney offered for cruises thru May 31st is 100% non refundable if you take the offer. If your cruise is cancelled and you are offered the 125% and book another cruise, normal cancellation policies apply.

Just did this yesterday thru Costco. I have a new confirmation number and can get a refund of my original cruise fare before PIF date. I don’t get a refund of the “extra” credit that Disney gave me for rebooking instead of taking a refund.

Maybe you should get a different dreams unlimited agent. I got all the right answers from Costco travel yesterday

You are subject to the new cruise's cancellation policies. So if you cancel prior to the PIF date, you can request 100% of the money that you paid Disney to be refunded. I then assume that if you cancel after the PIF date, I'll make up a number and say if the cancelation policy is you lose $200, I would then guess you could call and get all of your money that you paid less the $200 cancelation amount refunded.
