Am I too obssessed over DCL?

It's funny I just got on to post this and saw momtofour's post about the cost of DCL.
I am babysitting a five month old to save money to do a seven day Western 12-17-05. The problem is my youngest is 4 and goes to kindergarten next year and I feel like I'm not giving her the time and attention I could. I don't want to look back and regret not fully enjoying my last year with my daughter. I also really, really want to go on this cruise. We did a four day and it was amazing and I think the seven day would be something all the kids will remember forever.
Not to mention my sister and my parents are booked to go with us. So, are my priorites mixed up? I just don't know what to do.

You're probably giving your DD4 more attention than you think while you are babysitting the baby. Your kids WILL have some great memorie that they will remember for a very long time, if not for a lifetime. Going on the cruise with your family will be a blast - especially if everyone is looking forward to it. Don't worry, be a great mommy to your kids and take good care of the baby and you will be fine!

If your priorites are messed up then mine are too

I work at a preschool 3 days a week from 7:15 - 2:30 & on Fridays I clean our church. All this so I can vacation when I want too!! I am not kidding, both of my checks go for vacations. I love to travel.

I am sure you are giving your 4 year old enough attention. Since you are aware of the possiblity, I bet you are making wonderful efforts to spend time with your child. Plus, "big kids" love to be around babies!

Thanks guys. My daughter does love to help with the baby. I just know I spend A LOT of time thinking/planning/reading these boards for a vacation and I don't want to be, I don't even know the word, I don't want to be so preoccupied that I'm not enjoying the here and now, y'know?
