I secretly booked a 1st anniversary trip for my wife and I back in November. I've only paid the initial deposit for our trip. Today, I got a 40% discount pin. Is it possible for that to be applied to my trip this summer? It's already costing an arm and a leg, so I'm really REALLY hoping I can save some cash with this. Thanks.

Call right away (well when they are open) I know that most times they will allow it. I could be wrong but I really think they will if there are rooms availble at your resort under that code. Good Luck!!!

As PP said, they will if the room category is available with the discount, so call ASAP.

I reserved our room for Nov. '10 in way back in July '09, and I was able to apply my 40% PIN I received earlier this month! Good luck!

Congratulation on your PIN.
As long as there is availability at the resort you currently have booked for that PIN code, you should have no problem applying it to your current reservation. Let us know!

To add to what the others have said.. there will likely be availability somewhere so maybe consider switching to another resort in the same category. It would be worth it to save the 40%. Good Luck!

I can't cvomplain as I get Florida resident rates and AP rates, but wonder if I am eligible for a PIN?

Do they arrive by email? What does the subject usually say?

If you go to the *Codes and Rates* thread on the Resort Board, there is a ton of info there regarding PINS.

I just told my wife on Sunday about our trip and she was completely surprised. We're so excited! In less than 48 hours, we'll be pulling up to the Polynesian for our trip.

WOOOO HOOOO!!! $1200 isn't chump change! So glad you got a pin and were able to use it on your existing plans. I wish my DH would plan a surprise anniversary trip for us too! It'll never happen though
