Am I the only person to not get 'the code'?

I am just disappointed.

The code would have been the ONLY way to go to Disney this year. :sad1:

It wasn't a matter of 'well, I didn't get the code but we're still going to Disney' it was 'Oh...no code. I guess we'll go to Disney next year or in 2009' :sad2:

Lets see, I get almost daily Disney shopping discounts, Disney Store discounts, Disney phone discounts and even special offers for Disney timeshares......But I didn't get this code. Who knows how they do it. We are booked in a Blacked out date in Dec. Hopefully they will release another code for those dates.

I did not get one either. It is funny that we got a postcard after our first trip years ago. Then we got another one that same year. At the time our son was little and we wanted to wait a few years. Well, now that we go all the time I never receive anything. It does make you wonder if they market the codes to people that are not regular visitors? I wish they did give something to the regular visitors.

Don't feel bad. I didn't get it either.

Maybe a postcard will be headed your way soon.

Of course, I'm probably on the "bad guest - don't give discounts" list!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I didn't get one. I also called to see if I had the pin attached to my name...nope. This code would have been better than the AP rate I'm getting in March for AKL.

Like WDWBetsy, I'm on the "bad guest - don't give discounts" list. ;)

I didn't get one either. It would be nice to save a few bucks on my December trip.

No code for me either, but I already have a trip planned for Apr. 25 - May 5 and those dates are not included, so a code wouldn't do me any good. Oh well; we got a AAA rate, but hoping an AP rate will be released.

We've been coming to WDW for 10years and 15 long stays later, NOT 1 postcard, NOT 1 pin discount, NOT 1 e-mail discount, NOTHING..If Disneys reads this I think it Stinks if you on purpose don't send your discounts to people who support you. Plus I am an AP holder and I have no different perks than someone who is not an AP holder (as far as booking) so why I keep it I don't know. I give up! :confused3
chatty

what they said;)

add to it i own DVC too:confused: (yep, still need accommodations for pricey weekends to stretch my visits:) )

btw, AAA rate was almost identical as AP last Oct.:confused3 @ CR MK view.

Chatty:

I don't understand.. there are AP room rates all the time.. that are JUST for AP holders.. what do you mean you don't get anything to help with booking?

I did not receive one and was told by a CM that there were no codes out for the fall yet and to check back in a few months. I have been booked for awhile and will keep the ressie regardless but will hope for a code for free dining :thumbsup2

I've tried to call and get the 3 different codes that I have found associated with the 40% off room offer.

No luck with anyone - tried 4 different cast members so far too. I was able to get someone the first day to say I could book but at the time I didn't because I was unsure that vacation time could be changed for everyone. Since that first day, all of them when I have given the different codes have asked for my pin number and I don't have one so I am not eligible. I should call and ask if my sister has one associated with her name. We are all trying to arrange a vacation there.

Oh darn.

We also never get a code. That is why the Swan and Dolphin usually get most of our resort stay business lately. If Disney keeps trying to shove these over high priced deluxe rates down our throats I am more than happy to take my dollars elsewhere without a "code", "pin" etc. I have a certain budget and thats it. Now dh wants to stay at GF in Dec. I told him he better think long and hard for that price for sure!! I am totally happy with the swan $125 rate and not to mention the great govt. discounts we always get there too. I am seriously debating wether to get another ap or not.
