Am I the only one going crazy seeing the Fall specials for Walt Disney World Resorts and not Disneyland Resorts yet??!!
Trying to wait patiently......:rolleyes1

It looks like there may not be any Fall deals this year. I think the DLR hotels are filling up because people are willing to pay extra for the EE everyday. Even the Good Neighbour hotels are pretty pricey for the "off season".

I agree with cari12, I don't think we'll be seeing any Fall deals this year. Seems like Halloweentime is shaping up to be much busier than in the past. Last year I got a room at the DLH for about $209 a night after taxes (post remodel), this year it's about $373 after taxes with an AP discount. I was hoping a deal would come out and I could adjust, but unless it comes out in the next week or two, I don't think one will come. At this point, I am definitely not counting on it. This will be the most I have paid for a room that wasn't a castle in Ireland :) Eekkkk, scary Halloween indeed!

When I purchased my package from Walt Disney Travel center back in Feb the CM said that typically the price will go down for the fall. Well I haven't seen any discounts and actually the prices went up. I lucked out and purchased early.

I think they are going to continue to not offer discounts because people still want to see Cars and the holiday events.

I wish I had that Disney feeling at work.

Nope! Not alone! In years past the discounts were great! Even ticket deals! I keep hoping there will be a Fall ticket pakg :(.

Thats too bad. Oh well, supply and demand right?

Hoping for a discount for beginning of Nov. but not counting on it. AP calendar shows some dates already full for our time frame.

ya i just saw the one for DWD and now i am planning on my next trip

but i am still waiting for some discount for DL so i can plan another trip there aswell

I think it's highly unlikely that there will be any fall discounts at this point. The hotels are already full, they have no reason to lure people in with better deals. I was looking at changing hotels for our October trip, and couldn't get standard-view rooms at PPH or DLH for our dates when I called several weeks ago. There were still theme-park view and concierge rooms available, but it looks like they are going fast, too.

I think you may see the reverse happen over the next couple of years, where suddenly there are discounts at DLR and not at WDW. There have usually been great deals in early December to WDW, but with the Fantasyland remodel opening soon, those may be a thing of the past. I think as long as there is something new, people are going to flock to see it. Cars Land has brought many a WDW vet to DLR for their first time, and they are filling up the on and off property hotels, to the point where many are sold out. So the same thing might happen next year. I think those of us planning trips this year will just have to bite the bullet and pay the non-discounted price.

However, although hotels are filling up, I have seen many threads on this board where people have more than one hotel booked and have not made a decision where they will stay yet. There was one example of someone having reservations at 3 different hotels and then booking at a 4th. So rooms may open up as dates get closer but I do not foresee any discounts.
