Well, my oldest daughter hates it, so I guess you are not alone. I guess I rented it for her at the wrong age the first time. The flying monkeys scared her half to death, and she's hated that movie ever since. Same goes for the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. When the little girl (is it Veruca or the other one?) blew up into a huge blueberry my daughter freaked out and started screaming, and hated that movie forever-more. I guess four was a bad time to rent those two.

I love Wizard of Oz, BUT when I was a kid, my mom needed to stop me from watching it because I would have nightmares for days after I watched it on TV.......

Turns out, my senior musical was the Wizard of Oz and I was the Wicked witch of the West. (musical director told me I was typecast ) Thank goodness I outgrew the nightmares.
