Here's my wish, that there was some sort of icon or whatever that shows a TR is complete. So you could glance through the titles and easily see which ones are done.

My dream is for someone to come up with a database of trip reports that you could sort by date, completed or not, resort, season of travel, size of group, etc. That would make life grand!

Back in the day, everyone used to do one thread per part of the report, and it drove me nuts hunting down each part, so I don't mind scrolling past replies if it keeps everything in one thread. Plus the OP's replies to the replies can often add to the story!

really like the suggestion of posting each link of the Trip report on the first post for people that just want to read the Trip Report. I do know that a lot of our members like responses to their report, so I think it would be a win-win situation for both kind of readers.

How do you do that? I think it's an excellent idea! I will try to do a report when I'm back, and I would like to include the link to diff' days.

Thanks everyone for your thought provoking answers. It gave me some understanding of how this board works. I had always used it as a trip planning tool and had not thought about the relationships so much. It would be great to have the trip reports linked at the top of each post, but I am very computer challenged and don't know how to do that. Keep the trip reports rolling in!! And, FINISH your reports!
