Am I the only one who hates Mickey Mouse?

Maybe this is a bad place to say this...I love Disney stuff a lot, but I just can't stand Mickey Mouse! I cant even put my finger on the exact reason. My wife says I'm "un-American", and cant understand why I don't like him.

I think it's something about his voice, those big dumb ears, and the way he moves. He just irks me. I love most of the original Disney characters like Goofy and Donald. I guess Minnie isn't bad, but the fact that she actually likes Mickey means there must be something wrong with her.

(sorry this is probably in the wrong forum)

Now I am not fond of the Old/New Caricature of Mickey used in the Video Games, which has also been used in some recent cartoons. He looks more like a wet rat.

My DW has an irrational hate of "that b*tch" Minnie Mouse, but who can hate Mickey?

We don't really like Minnie either. We love Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Pluto and Daisy.

My sister has a visceral hatred for Daisy. A 40 year old woman, and she has a big "crush" on Donald...so she thinks of Daisy as the "other woman". It's kind of funny.

We all have characters who haven't managed to win a place in our hearts, I'm sure! It must be rough for you since it's Mickey's kingdom and all.

I have no love for Pinocchio, myself. I'm glad he isn't quite as sacred among Disney fans.

My favorites are Goofy and Tigger but I do like Mickey. I dislike very few characters in fact.

Me too. Most are just fine. Not a fan of Aladdin or Stitch.

I don't mind Mickey and Minnie, but I really prefer the Ducks. They just seem to have more personality to me. The only "major" character I've never cared for is Goofy.

Poor Mickey....

I can understand. I really don't like Minnie Mouse. There is just something about her I find really annoying. Like her only "purpose" is to be giggly around Mickey. At least Daisy has some "sass" to her.

For some reason Rapunzel really annoys me too LOL In the movie and in person. Not a fan so we avoid her where possible

yeah....Mickey is too much of a bit of a goody two shoes for me now...not fond of him either..he was wayyy better back in the days of "Steamboat Willie" when he was more reckless lol

I can't stand Ursula....and I look just like her....short, round, white short spiky hair....it is really creepy. Good thing DH loves her and not Ariel.
