Am I the only one who doesn't know who Meeko is?

<B>NEWS FLASH: Beginning June 29th there will be a new set of characters at the Liberty Tree Tavern dinner.

New Characters are: Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Meeko.</B>


Meeko?!?! I give up. Sounds like Mighty Mouse's little brother. I'm sure I've seen him/her/it, but the name doesn't click.

Meeko is the raccoon from Pochantis. He's a cute little guy. We aren't fans of the movie but love Meeko!

Don't feel bad-I only know because I wanted to name a kitten after "that cute little raccoon from Pocohantas" so I had to look it up. And then we decided "Simba" was a more appropriate name.

Meeko-

He's Pocahontas' raccoon sidekick. I'm a big fan of Meeko. He's a very fun character at the parks, always playful and mischevious. I'm glad to hear that he'll be at Liberty Tree Tavern now. Just watch your food carefully- knowing Meeko he may try to snatch something off your plate.

I won a giant stuffed Meeko for my kids at our local Kroger store back when Disney was promoting Pocahontas coming to video. Now that my kids are too old for him, he is living up in our attic. Isn't that where raccoons like to hang out!!!

When I found out that Meeko would be appearing at LTT, I knew we had to have dinner there! After Baloo, he is my favorite character.

My daughter named her kitten Meeko.
Any one else name their pet Meeko.

This is the only character that gave us a hard time! He wouldn't let us take his picture, still don't know why?!? DH thinks it was because we were in front of a restroom - what a wierdo!

We went to a character meal at the Studios back in 1995 & this is exactly what Meeko was doing! He is so cute!!

We're Meeko fans too, especially DH. We just made PS for LTT after reading about Meeko. We are so glad he's back at a character meal. The last time we saw him at a meal was at the WL Pocahontas breakfast. We usually find him at AK but a meal will be great. At AK he's always interacted wonderfully with DD and DS but it may be because they offered him crackers and pretzels. Or maybe it was the matching Meeko shirts my DH made...

Dont feel bad erikthewise, while on our honeymoon my husband and I were walking thru the halls at wilderness lodge some years ago and my husband suddenly blurts out "Look theres Eeyore !" I turned around to find it was Meeko ! If a racoon could give a dirty look he most certainly did ! Needless to say my husband learned the difference real quick !

BabyMo - Baloo is my favorite too !!! Gotta love the bear too !

I won the same Meeko! Does yours have the biscuit in it's paws??? I loved that thing.. I have absolutely no idea where it went though... I wish I had him back now!

Hahaha! Well, I took it to my boyfriend's house because I didn't have the room for it.. When he moved, one of his brothers latched onto it and I've never seen it again..
