Am I the only one upset by this?

I went to order my AP's on 9/12 only to find out about the price increase one day too late! This translates into a $100 increase for my family of 5 which may knock MVMCP out of our budget. I knew they ususally have increases in the fall but the last I read they were due on Sept. 26th. I can't believe the insensitivity of Disney to increase prices when almost everyone's attention is elsewhere (school starting and of all dates to pick 9/11). It seems almost sneaky if you ask me. I should have ordered them back in August but with back to school shopping things were just a little tight. Sorry, just had to vent my frustrations!:(

Sorry Lisa. :( The price increase was posted here last Friday and all passes went up this week. Definately not much notice. :(

Sorry you missed out.

Disney typically implements price increases with extremely little advance notice. This prevents a massive buy-in at the lower prices.

This year there actually was a bit of advance notice when in the spring, Disney announced they would hold the line with admission prices "through the summer season" (their words). The summer season at Disney ended August 25th. A price increase was inevitable soon after.
