Wow, that was kind of fun! The hydrogen peroxide went in freezing, but came out warm. You'll have to try it, imsorry!

My doc actually told me that you can use those nasal aspirator bulbs (the kind you use in babies' noses) And fill that with warm water (has to be warm, because theres something with shooting cold water into your inner ear that will make you dizzy or throw up or something) and you can basically do the same thing...

We have a little one for the ear (an ear kit, really....) never knew my DH was into this kind of sick stuff. Some people find Playboy, I found an ear kit under his bathroom sink.

You have no idea how many people's ears I've cleaned out. When you spend your days pulling chunks of wax out of other people's ears, it sort of loses some of it's appeal at home.

What I do love is to clean my ears with ear swabs. But we have to be careful to dispose of them properly or the cat finds them and carries them around the house.

I have to get my ears cleaned out occasionally at my DR's office. They put hydrogen peroxide in there first to bubble up and loosen stuff, then....and this is where it gets good! They take a HUGE needleless syringe and slowly shoot warm water into my ears to flush it all out...it feels absolutely heavenly! Almost as good as sneezing!

Ours is the non-fetching cat. The fetching cat wasn't featured in any of the pictures. That picture of your cats is so adorable.

And the OPs question is no weirder than the OP! But it's one reason that we love her (yes, a very strange kind of love )..
