Am I the only one not happy with new EMH hours?

We are going May 7-12 (Friday-Wednesday) and were planning on going to MK on Mothers Day and utilize the EMH so that we could avoid the crowds and get some extra time in before our PS at Crystal Palace for 11:30a.m. We are planning on leaving MK right after that. Now I am concerned that since Disney changed EMH that it will be crowded at MK at opening because most people will go there first and then go to Epcot for the evening EMH. The only alternative that we have to go to MK would be Saturday or Monday, as we have made other plans for Tuesday and Wednesday. I have heard that Saturdays and Mondays are very crowded. What do you think?

Thanks

Honestly? Mother's Day would be really crowded at MK either way. Sunday in general is packed at MK, and Mother's Day in particular is a popular MK day. However, the fact that Flower & Garden is going on at Epcot, and now Epcot has an EMH evening, will likely draw people over there, and likely a lot earlier than you think. People may actually choose NOT to go to MK that day simply because there ISN'T early entry. I think you'll be fine. What you need to remember is that virtually every weekend day throughout the year is busy at MK. And while there may be more people there at the very beginning of the morning on Mother's Day than there would have been if you got an EMH, it's not going to be drastically more crowded. It's not like you're talking about the difference between wandering leisurely through the park virtually alone and being shoulder-to-shoulder all morning long. Hang onto your plans as is and just have fun!
