Am I that vain, or have others done it too?

I got my drivers license picture taken last week. I decided that I really hated it. So I went and got a new one today. The picture is much better.

Anyone else do that or am I the only one? lol

I would do that except for the DMV experience here in RI is a living hell that only a crazy person would endure voluntarily

I haven't had the desire to change it yet, but I swear when I go in 2006 for my new one, I might plead for them to keep my current pic

I am vain too. I told the DMV I had lost my license and needed a new one.

I don't know how it is everywhere, but in PA, they take your picture, if you're not happy with it, they'll retake it on the spot till you tell them you'll accept the one they've taken. Once the license is presented to you though, I didn't think you were allowed to take it back and tell them you want a new one.

Well, I knew you could do this, but don't they charge you a new license fee to get a new one made up? What is it, about $24? It might even be more than that.

I can't stand my pic. It was taken years ago right after I had food poisoning.....it's terrible but I've never changed it.

Yes I would and I have. The problem is I have a really hard time liking most pictures taken of me so I am a PITA!

I never like ANY picture taken of me, so no, I would never go back to have it re-taken.

the only time you show your license is to get into a bar or to verify id for checks, planes...........never mind .......now i get it...............

draw a moustache on the picture and polka dots.

I just realized today that my student ID looks horrible...It's be a real shame if i accidently lost it.

My Drivers License looks fine, but my student ID look like I am hung over and in a police lineup!

Oh a bad student ID would be aweful! I made my college take my pic three times!

Mcacraven..dont forget. You also have to show your License to police officers. A good pic could get you off!

Here in GA, you are only charged 1/2 price. I paid 8.00 for the new, pretty license!

Here they take multiple pictures and you get to choose.

in illinos it is $5 for a replacement. only problem is if you say you lost yours, you don't get a new one taken unless there has been a substantial weight change such as over 50 pounds.
you pay the $5 and they issue you, from the computer set, the same pic on your new id.

I wish I could get mine redone. But it's not worth the hassle, I just never show my id if I can help it.
