Am I right about AAA?

ok, we are going!!! so i want to book an AAA rate ASAP! what i have to do is call AAA's number from the disney section on their website and request a quote for my dates, and then just book right over the phone for room & tickets, right? we're not doing dining plan. am i missing any steps? thanks!!!!!

All you have to do is call CRO 407-w-disney. Tell them you want to book room with AAA discount. They should ask for AAA member #, but I've had some ask and some haven't.

but i heard that you can only book the room through CRO - we also want MYW tix. or is it better to buy those separately?

If you want to book a room-only reservation with a AAA discount, you can call CRO. You can also add on MYW tickets. You just can't add on the dining and keep the discount this way.

However, if you want to add on the dining AND keep the AAA discount, you must book directly with a AAA travel agency (and buy at least 1 day MYW tickets for everyone in your room).

WDWBetsy is correct. I just booked our May trip through CRO using AAA discount. When you order tkts. they must all be paid for in advance with your 1 nights room deposit. The CM said you could add tkts at any time before your arrival, so since my sister is the only one needing tkt. I will add that on sometime before we leave.

Great thank you, I was going to call AAA but now will definitely give CRO a ring tomorrow. We're trying to get a room for the third week in May - hopefully they'll have AAA rates available. Thanks so much!

i am so glad i found out about ticketmania before i booked tickets through disney. i think we will be able to save $40 through them!

okay so if you want the dining plan, you have to book it through AAA to get the room at the AAA rate *and* you have to buy your tickets through them too? I wanted to get room and dining through AAA and tickets through Ticketmania, but I can't? Does that make sense to anyone?

YES! I just got our room reservations by calling Disney and using the AAA discount - 5 nights at CBR for $730! sounds good to me. we won't be doing the dining plan and we will get our tickets via ticketmania as mousesavers members.

We got a room, tickets and the dining plan thru AAA and got a 15% discount for Wilderness lodge. We actually used a AAA agent that was refered on this site. Her name is Michelle Spears and she has been great.
